Examination Invigilator

Casual hours

HC3 (SCP 10 – 13), £15,238 - £16,191 pa pro rata (Hourly rate £7.90 to £8.39)

We are looking to appoint an Examination Invigilator for the Summer 2017 GCSE exams from 16 May to 23 June 2017.

The successful applicant will have a calm and confident disposition and an ability to make decisions on the spot. Hours of work will depend upon the GCSE examination timetable, but generally we would require an 08:30 start for morning examinations, and a 12:45 start for afternoon examinations. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and able to work with other invigilators to assist in the administrative work that needs to take place immediately after an examination.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from parents or relatives of any of our current Year 11 cohort.

Prior experience is not essential, but would be an advantage. On the job training will be given to the successful applicant, and they will need to become familiar with the JCQ regulations for running examinations.

Further information is available from Mrs Jill Hancocks at the school (telephone 01432 357371)

Completed application forms should be submitted to admin@aylestone.hereford.sch.uk or by post to the school bursar, Mr Steve Cameron.

The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Closing date for applications: Friday 17th February 2017
